1. Season 2, Episode 10(Foul Play)

This is one of the most interesting episodes of the Cutthroat kitchen show.

It involves two chefs who attempted to improvise their cooking means while at the same time trying to sabotage each other.

While in the middle of the cooking challenge, the chefs were forced to exchange dishes.

Unexpectedly, they are given sliced bread which is to be used in place of a bread bowl.

One of the chefs is further surprised by being forced to obtain bread through the use of chicken nuggets.

This was to be used for the cooking of fried chicken steak. With a rating of 30 votes, the episode was rated among the best. 

2. Season 13, Episode 13(Domo Arigato)

In the first round of the Cutthroat Kitchen competition, Alton Brown tricked the competitors by giving them the challenge to work on a table that was covered with eggs.

The two remaining chefs have to make a waffle breakfast sandwich while using this table as the preparation surface. 

Secondly, they had to prepare a Korean barbecue dish in a very peculiar environment.

The preparation of this Korean meal happened at a Korean restaurant table amidst a group of Korean crowds.

In the final, the standing chef is required to make gelato with tools that were attached to a statue of David. 

3. Season 4, Episode 3(Anything but a cakewalk)

In this episode, one of the participants confused “biscuits and gravy’ for brisket and gravy”. Because English was not his common language, the chef ended up looking for ingredients to prepare brisket and gravy. 

However, the rest of the chefs were surprised when the judge praised his brisket. He was excused for confusing the two dishes and Alton Brown took the incident as a learning lesson.

In the subsequent episodes, he made sure that all the ingredients and methods of preparing were clear to the participants. 

4. Season 11 Episode 21(Trifle)

This episode was also among the most interesting as it involved chefs making stuffed cabbage while squeezed in a cab.

The two remaining chefs entered the final stage and had to play a shuka game before preparing the shakshuka ingredients.

After elimination, the last chef standing had to make trifle layers one at a time. 

5. Season 8, Episode 6(Evilicious)

In this exciting episode, the two chefs are surprised by the fact that they have to prepare meatballs while in a ball pit.

Afterward, they also had to prepare a Teriyaki dinner while they are seated on a sea-saw. Upon elimination, the last remaining chef had to harvest coconuts directly from a tree and then use them to prepare macaroons.

6. Season 3, Episode 10(Hakuna Frittata)

While the preparation of a Frittata could seem easy initially, the final stage involved the preparation of this meal while inside eggshells.

The last chef got shocked by having to make use of old kitchen supplies to prepare this dish.

As a way of sabotaging, one chef got the chance to shred the steak of the opponent.
